What We Do

Chez Alice Catering Company was established in 1991 in the heart of Princeton, NJ.  Chez Alice quickly gained a loyal following and widespread recognition for wonderful food, amazing cakes and terrific service.

Kelly Hamdan has owned Chez Alice since 1997.  Kelly has successfully operated cafes in Princeton, at the Library and in Palmer Square, and at Grounds for Sculpture, while simultaneously serving off site catering clients.  Most recently, Chez Alice is concentrating on off site catering for corporate and private clients.   Kelly is dedicated to her clients and they know they can rely on her to provide wonderful food and service for a small dinner party or a huge celebration.

Jean Butcher, Director of Special Events, is from East Brunswick, NJ and currently resides in Princeton.  Jean has many years experience in special event planning, having worked at MTV and VH1 in NYC.  Jean loves to assist clients with all aspects of their events, paying particular attention to the very smallest details.  Jean prides herself on providing excellent customer service, working with our clients to make their events a great success.

Chez Alice, originally specializing in French cuisine, has expanded to include a wide variety of dishes sure to please any palate.  We have offered Italian, Indian, Mexican, Vegetarian, Vegan and Asian dishes to rave reviews.  We also provide kosher catering under the supervision of Rabbi Grossman of Adath Israel Congregation in Lawrenceville. 

Chez Alice works with our clients to provide a great menu, while keeping their budget in mind.   We can tailor a menu to fit your tastes and your budget.  We always use the freshest ingredients to provide delicious results.  Our event planners help our clients plan every last detail of their event from floor plans to a schedule for the event.  We are also pleased to assist with other aspects of planning, from suggesting florists, rental companies, musicians and photographers.  Our experience and dedication to success make Chez Alice a wise choice for your wedding, family celebration, or corporate event.
