For thirty years, Chez Alice has been creating the events of clients’ dreams. Delicious food combined with friendly and professional service created a name for Chez Alice in central New Jersey hospitality.


The story of Chez Alice begins in 1991 on Nassau Street in beautiful Princeton, New Jersey. Since its establishment, several organizational changes have been made, but the passion remains the same. Previous owner Kelly Hamdan sold the cafe and bakery division of Chez Alice and moved the catering division to Pennington, New Jersey. After the move, Hamdan focused primarily on off-premise catering and events therefore Chez Alice Catering Company was born.


January 2020 brought many new changes. Acquired by Harvest Hospitality Group and new owners Jason and Kelly Dychus, Chez Alice now brings an even greater realm of possibilities to clients. From authentic BBQ, to two amazing food trucks, and impeccable custom cake offerings combined with the culinary prowess of Chez Alice, the level of total event service is second to none. Jason, a veteran of the hospitality business, brings 20 years of expertise in the event planning and catering. Kelly, a classically trained pastry chef, honed her skills for over a decade working in many bakeries and hotels throughout New Jersey to bring Chez Alice clients the best custom cakes and confections available through sister company, Midnight Moon Cakery..
